CT Technologist in New Brunswick, NJ

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour evening shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Certified and registered in CT imaging
• Experience with Siemens CT and/or PET CT machines is required
• Demonstrated competence performing both routine and complex scans
• Proficiency in patient positioning and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different cases and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures as ordered, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures, maintaining comfort and safety
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and ensure proper maintenance
• Accurately document patient information and scan details in the electronic health record
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth workflow and provide optimal patient care
• Uphold infection control and quality assurance standards at all times
