Advance your diagnostic imaging career in a fast-paced environment working as a CT/PET Technologist. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality patient care utilizing advanced CT imaging technology. The position specifically seeks professionals skilled in both CT and PET modalities and able to operate Siemens equipment efficiently.

Schedule:

  • Evening shift schedule
  • 5 shifts per week, each 8 hours

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CT Technologist or CT/PET Tech in a clinical setting
  • Expertise in Siemens imaging systems required
  • Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification, with current state licensure
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT and PET imaging procedures according to established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging to ensure high-quality results
  • Maintain and calibrate Siemens imaging equipment as needed
  • Practice all required safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols
  • Review imaging results for accuracy and image quality before submitting to Radiologist
  • Document patient information and procedures thoroughly in system records
  • Deliver clear communication and reassurance to patients during procedures
