CT Tech CT Technologist | New Cumberland, West Virginia

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional looking to advance their CT expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment. This position focuses exclusively on CT imaging in a modern department equipped with GE VCT 64 slice and Siemens Somatom Definition 64 slice scanners, performing a range of diagnostic studies including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, biopsies, and sterile tray setups.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• No call requirements

Key Qualifications:

• BLS certification required
• Must possess or be eligible to secure a WV Xray License (may apply after offer)
• ARRT (CT) preferred, or a minimum of 3-5 years’ CT experience
• IV initiation experience required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to participate in state-required background screening prior to start (WV CARES)
• Copies of unexpired driver’s license required for application (applicants must not reside within a 50-mile radius)
• New travelers are welcome

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform 65 CT studies per day including studies of various body regions and biopsies (biopsy training available if needed)
• Set up and maintain sterile trays
• Collaborate with a team of three CT technologists and nursing staff
• Leverage Community Works EMR and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS
• Start IVs for contrast-enhanced imaging procedures
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as needed
• Occasional independent coverage overnight
