CT Tech CT Technologist in New Haven, CT

Step into a critical role delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services as a CT Technologist. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated professional with expertise in CT imaging who can ensure precision, safety, and exceptional patient care. Schedule:

• Week One: Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Week Two: Monday–Wednesday, Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm; Weekend, 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Every other weekend is scheduled on rotation
• On-call support is preferred

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification is required
• Previous experience as a CT Technologist, with solid knowledge of imaging procedures and safety practices
• Familiarity with modern CT systems and equipment
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some on-call shifts
• Strong attention to patient confidentiality and quality assurance standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, interpreting protocols and adapting techniques for optimal imaging results
• Accurately prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff, efficiently handling image data and reporting findings as needed
• Monitor imaging systems for safety and quality, reporting any concerns promptly
• Maintain clear records and adhere strictly to regulatory and facility protocols
