CT Tech CT Technologist in New Haven, CT

Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Week 2: Monday–Wednesday & Friday, 12:00pm–8:30pm; Weekend, 3:00pm–11:30pm
• Every other weekend will be part of your set schedule
• Flexibility to assist with on-call coverage is preferred

Key Qualifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a CT credential (ARRT-CT)
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment
• Solid knowledge of safe imaging practices and best standards of care
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Previous experience as a CT Technologist or in a similar imaging role is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to radiology protocols

• Independently perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately position patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and safety
• Review images and collaborate with radiologists for timely interpretation and diagnosis
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and patient records in the imaging system
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines for both patients and staff, including infection control practices
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment and support workflow efficiency
