CT Technologist | New York, New York

Harness your expertise in CT and PET imaging in a contract opportunity focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position provides hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment in New York, NY, with a start date of 10/10. Applicants are needed for three distinct shifts—8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, and 10am to 6pm. If you are available for all shift options, kindly specify.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8am – 4pm
• 9am – 5pm
• 10am – 6pm

Qualifications:

• Current registration and/or licensure as a CT or PET/CT Technologist (must be maintained throughout contract)
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on proficiency with CT and PET imaging modalities and equipment
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Demonstrated ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Prior experience in a clinical imaging environment preferred
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Perform a full spectrum of CT and PET/CT imaging procedures with a commitment to patient safety and image quality
• Prepare and position patients according to protocol to ensure optimal imaging results
• Complete patient documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure cleanliness and readiness of imaging areas
• Offer clear communication to patients regarding expectations and procedures
