An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled CT/PET Technologist to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic imaging department. The selected professional will work full-time, delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services with expertise in CT and PET modalities.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time
  • 5.5 shifts per week, 8-hour nights (8NBO)

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist by an accredited registry (ARRT preferred)
  • Required experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
  • Proficient in patient positioning, imaging protocols, and radiation safety
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and experience evaluating diagnostic images for quality
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical teams
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise CT and PET/CT scans per physician orders, following safety and imaging protocols
  • Prepare and position patients, offering clear explanations to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures
  • Process and evaluate images for clarity, submitting high-quality diagnostic images for provider review
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Monitor equipment functionality, reporting any issues for prompt resolution
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times
  • Provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
