An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled CT/PET Technologist to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic imaging department. The selected professional will work full-time, delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services with expertise in CT and PET modalities.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time
- 5.5 shifts per week, 8-hour nights (8NBO)
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist by an accredited registry (ARRT preferred)
- Required experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
- Proficient in patient positioning, imaging protocols, and radiation safety
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and experience evaluating diagnostic images for quality
- Ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical teams
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform precise CT and PET/CT scans per physician orders, following safety and imaging protocols
- Prepare and position patients, offering clear explanations to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures
- Process and evaluate images for clarity, submitting high-quality diagnostic images for provider review
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Monitor equipment functionality, reporting any issues for prompt resolution
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times
- Provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
