Schedule:
- Full-time hours
- 5.5 shifts of 8 hours on a rotating schedule
Qualifications:
- Certification and current registration in CT (Computed Tomography)
- Previous experience operating advanced CT and PET/CT equipment
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols in radiation and imaging suites
- Proficiency in performing complex scans with attention to patient care and comfort
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- CPR or BLS certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and CT/PET imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining exams and addressing concerns
- Follow strict protocols for radiation safety and infection control
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians for optimal workflow and patient outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and assist with patient record management
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
