An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional specializing in CT and CT/PET modalities. This full-time contract position calls for a skilled technologist who is ready to begin as soon as possible. You’ll be an integral member of a collaborative healthcare environment, providing high-quality imaging services that are essential to diagnostic and treatment decisions.

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours
  • 5.5 shifts of 8 hours on a rotating schedule

Qualifications:

  • Certification and current registration in CT (Computed Tomography)
  • Previous experience operating advanced CT and PET/CT equipment
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols in radiation and imaging suites
  • Proficiency in performing complex scans with attention to patient care and comfort
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • CPR or BLS certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and CT/PET imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining exams and addressing concerns
  • Follow strict protocols for radiation safety and infection control
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians for optimal workflow and patient outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and assist with patient record management
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
  • Support a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care
