CT Technologist in New York, NY

This contract position is dedicated to professionals with expertise in CT and PET/CT imaging, offering the opportunity to deliver precise diagnostic images in a dynamic clinical environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Part-time, weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
• Shifts available: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT or PET/CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent required)
• Minimum of one year of experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Proven ability to interact compassionately with patients of diverse backgrounds
• Active BLS certification preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to radiation safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging, providing clear instructions and ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately enter patient and exam information into radiology systems
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver timely and precise results
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment and workspaces
• Uphold professional standards for patient privacy and confidentiality
