Seeking an experienced professional with expertise in CT and CT/PET imaging for a part-time contract opportunity in a dynamic hospital environment. As a key member of the imaging department, you will provide high-quality diagnostic services and collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to support optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule:

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license
  • Current ARRT certification
  • CT Certification required
  • Recent hospital-based experience as a CT or CT/PET Tech
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safety practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and CT/PET scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images
  • Ensure proper patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
  • Accurately follow physician instructions and implement imaging protocols
  • Document findings, maintain patient records, and update image databases
  • Maintain equipment integrity through routine checks and troubleshooting
  • Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
