Qualifications:
- Valid NYS license (required)
- ARRT certification (required)
- CT certification (required)
- Recent hospital experience essential
- Proven proficiency with imaging modalities specific to CT and CT/PET
- Strong technical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and collaborative mindset
- Certifications must be clearly listed on your resume
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and CT/PET scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging services
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of patients throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, protocols, and hospital policies
- Document all procedures and results accurately within the hospital’s electronic medical system
- Perform equipment checks, preventive maintenance, and report technical issues promptly
