Schedule:
- Part-time hours: Monday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Current and valid New York State license required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
- CT certification required
- Prior hospital-based imaging experience essential
- Strong technical knowledge of advanced imaging procedures, including PET and CT modalities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality diagnostic images and work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of CT and CT/PET scanning according to established protocols and safety standards
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently and ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis
- Select appropriate technical factors to minimize radiation exposure while achieving diagnostic objectives
- Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and workflow
- Monitor, assess, and address patient needs throughout each procedure, maintaining comfort and safety
- Prepare and document imaging records, maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Ensure a clean, organized workspace and proper maintenance of imaging equipment
