CT Technologist in New York, NY

Schedule:

• Part-time role
• Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Requirements:

• Current New York State license (NYS License) is mandatory
• ARRT certification in good standing
• CT Certification required
• Previous experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with CT and PET/CT technology and procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and alongside a multidisciplinary medical team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging as ordered by medical staff
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately document and maintain patient records
• Review imaging results, ensuring technical accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists regarding findings
• Uphold all regulatory and departmental protocols for safety and quality assurance
• Assist with maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment
