Schedule:
- 13-week contract
- Full-time hours
- 8:00am – 4:00pm shift
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent credentials for CT/PET imaging required
- Demonstrated experience performing computed tomography (CT) and PET/CT scans
- Familiarity with advanced imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and infection control standards
- Current BLS certification
- High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and with clinical teams
- Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Assess images for clarity and accuracy, re-imaging if necessary
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and fellow technicians for optimal diagnostic results
- Assist in quality assurance projects and take part in ongoing training
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations
