An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in CT and CT/PET imaging. This full-time contract role offers the chance to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services, working in a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to excellent patient care.

Schedule:

  • 13-week contract
  • Full-time hours
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm shift

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent credentials for CT/PET imaging required
  • Demonstrated experience performing computed tomography (CT) and PET/CT scans
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging protocols and safety procedures
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Current BLS certification
  • High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and with clinical teams
  • Excellent patient interaction and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
  • Assess images for clarity and accuracy, re-imaging if necessary
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians and fellow technicians for optimal diagnostic results
  • Assist in quality assurance projects and take part in ongoing training
  • Manage and maintain imaging equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations
