Exciting opportunity for an experienced imaging professional specializing in CT and PET/CT to contribute expertise to a leading healthcare environment. This contract position provides exposure to advanced diagnostic technology and the potential for a long-term, direct hire role for those who are a great fit. The assignment is over 13 weeks, with the facility expressing interest in candidates open to permanent employment options.
Schedule:
- Shift: 5x8-hour shifts

Key Qualifications:
- Valid New York State license for radiologic technology
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Proven experience as a CT Technologist or working with PET/CT imaging
- Strong technical knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and diagnostic protocols
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
- Ensure high-quality, accurate images for physician interpretation
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing compassionate care throughout
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and maintain safety protocols
- Accurately document procedures, update electronic records, and assist in quality assurance initiatives
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding results
Additional Details:
- Candidates progressing to a second-round interview will participate in an on-site scan session lasting 3-4 hours, for which compensation will be provided
