CT Technologist | Newark, New Jersey

Step into a key imaging role working with both CT and PET technologies, serving a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is ideal for experienced technologists looking to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 am – 11:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active NJ Radiology License required
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification
• Previous experience as a CT and/or PET/CT Technologist
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process
• Ensure accurate image acquisition, processing, and documentation in the patient record
• Monitor equipment performance and work with the appropriate contacts for trouble-shooting or maintenance as needed
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, infection control policies, and HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
