Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (specific hours will vary based on department needs)

Qualifications:

  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist in an acute clinical radiology setting
  • Strong knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
  • Extensive background in anatomy and medical terminology
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Proficient with computers and digital imaging systems

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality imaging services
  • Support radiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Ensure accurate processing and transmission of images to PACS
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards
  • Communicate clearly with patients, providing compassionate care throughout
