Job Description

Soliant is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Newport, Rhode Island. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic hospital-based imaging team serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The department utilizes advanced GE Revolution and Siemens Drive CT scanners, providing technologists with the opportunity to work with industry-leading imaging technology while expanding their clinical expertise. Candidates with hospital-based CT experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations
  • Operate GE Revolution and Siemens Drive CT scanners safely and effectively
  • Provide imaging services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills

Qualifications/Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • ARRT (CT) Certification required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

Experience:

  • Previous CT Technologist experience required
  • Hospital-based CT experience preferred
  • Experience with GE Revolution scanners preferred
  • Experience with Siemens Drive scanners preferred

Work Hours:

40 hours per week; five 8-hour evening shifts. Primarily second shift with occasional first or third shift coverage as needed. No call required.
