Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification as a CT or CT/PET Technologist (ARRT or equivalent required)
  • Active state license to practice as a technologist
  • Proven experience operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment and related technologies
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures for working with radiologic technology and patient evaluation
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Schedule/Hours:

  • Rotating shifts may be required, with flexibility to support coverage needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the process, and address any concerns to ensure comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment, monitor patient status throughout scanning, and follow all safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to ensure accurate imaging and optimum patient outcomes
  • Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and support quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
