CT Tech CT Technologist in North, SC

A skilled professional is needed to provide vital diagnostic imaging services as a CT Technologist on a contract basis. In this role, your expertise will help clinicians diagnose and treat patients efficiently and accurately, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with CT endorsement
• Current state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (as required)
• Previous experience performing CT scans in a clinical or hospital environment
• Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols, safety procedures, and equipment operation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Proven commitment to patient safety and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Review and verify physician orders and imaging requests
• Adhere to all infection control, radiation safety, and privacy regulations
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate with biomedical or technical staff for maintenance as necessary
• Accurately document procedures, maintain imaging records, and upload results to appropriate systems
• Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients throughout their imaging experience
