CT Technologist - Opa Locka, Florida

Step into a dynamic imaging environment utilizing advanced Siemens Sensation 64-slice CT technology, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This contract-based role focuses on both CT and CT/PET scanning, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning in a fast-paced medical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Five 8-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (CT) certification is required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience as a CT or CT/PET technologist in a clinical or hospital environment
• Knowledge and competence with Siemens Sensation 64-slice scanners highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, excellent patient communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to maintaining safety, quality standards, and infection control protocols

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate Siemens Sensation 64-slice CT and/or combined CT/PET equipment to acquire diagnostic images per physician orders
• Review patient histories and explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Monitor patients during scans, recognize and respond to changes in their condition
• Perform all required image documentation and patient charting accurately within required timelines
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging results and workflow efficiency
• Practice and promote patient confidentiality, professionalism, and compassionate care throughout all processes

This is a 13-week initial contract with rapid onboarding for candidates ready to start as soon as possible.
