CT Tech CT Technologist in Oregon City, OR

Advance your imaging career in a dynamic environment with a specialized opportunity for a CT technologist. This position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for patient care, utilizing advanced CT technology. The assignment is for 13 weeks and focuses on leveraging your skills with state-of-the-art equipment.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Days: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm
• Rotating shifts, Wednesday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(CT) credential required
• Valid Oregon License
• Proficiency with Siemens Flash Dual Source and Perspective CT machines
• Previous experience in a fast-paced hospital or clinical setting strongly preferred
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient service abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to perform quality diagnostic scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Evaluate images for technical quality and communicate significant findings to radiologists
• Maintain clear and timely documentation within patient medical records
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation protection guidelines
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and assist in departmental workflow
