In this specialized travel role focusing on Imaging-CT, you’ll broaden your clinical expertise and adapt to new protocols, advanced technologies, and a variety of diagnostic cases, ensuring professional development every step of the way.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts may vary depending on facility needs
- No on-call schedule required
- Must be available to arrive the Thursday before your start for a Friday employee health appointment
Qualifications:
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer, or application in progress (must be licensed by start date)
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in an acute hospital environment
- Comfortable performing routine CT scans and operating independently in accordance with radiologist protocols
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred
- Familiarity with venipuncture; ability to conduct MIP, MPR, 3D imaging; and handle specialized procedures such as biopsies or vascular imaging a plus
- Proof of flu vaccination, or facility-approved medical/religious exception prior to assignment begin date
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of CT imaging procedures, including advanced and emergency diagnostics
- Follow radiologist instructions precisely and ensure high-quality imaging outcomes
- Operate and maintain CT equipment; document and track scans in the EMR system
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care through all aspects of imaging
- Work collaboratively with team members while functioning independently when required
