Exciting opportunity for an experienced imaging professional skilled in CT, X-ray, and PET technologies. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
- Additional certification in CT, PET, or both highly preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ hands-on experience in a clinical imaging department
- Strong proficiency operating CT, X-ray, and PET equipment
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- Commitment to patient safety and quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-rays, CT scans, and PET procedures as ordered by medical providers
- Review patient histories and explain procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment, accurately positioning patients for optimal image acquisition
- Monitor imaging results for quality and clarity, following protocols for repeat images when necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other technologists to deliver coordinated care
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
