Step into an engaging position delivering essential CT imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with a focus on high-quality diagnostic care. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology, including a Siemens 64 Somatom scanner, and your expertise in both CT and x-ray will be highly valued.
Schedule:
- 4 shifts per week, 10-hour days (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
- Call shifts: 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm following a shift, 2 nights per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans using the Siemens 64 Somatom scanner, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Execute general x-ray examinations as needed.
- Administer contrast material using IV skills and perform fluoroscopic procedures when required.
- Ensure patient safety and deliver compassionate care through all imaging processes.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to support optimal diagnostic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to imaging department protocols.
- Provide support during on-call evening shifts.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT certification required
- Valid California Radiological Technologist License
- Fluoroscopy permit and IV certification
- Experience with Siemens 64 Somatom or similar CT technology
- Proficiency with x-ray imaging, including both routine and urgent studies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
