Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current state licensure to perform CT imaging procedures
- Prior experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines
- BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans for a variety of clinical indications as ordered by physicians
- Properly position and prepare patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout exams
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to emergent situations
- Review images for technical quality and submit to radiologists for interpretation
- Maintain equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols
- Accurately complete documentation and patient records in accordance with facility policies
- Work collaboratively with other technologists, nurses, and physicians to deliver optimal imaging services
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards
