A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional with advanced experience in CT and PET/CT imaging. This 13-week contract role requires a candidate committed to high standards of patient care and technical excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid New Jersey Radiology License
- Certification from ARRT(CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to patient care
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and positioning for imaging studies
- Review and evaluate images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic quality
- Maintain all required documentation and comply with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and the rest of the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
- Provide compassionate, informative support and guidance to patients before, during, and after exams
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary to ensure safe operation
