A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional with advanced experience in CT and PET/CT imaging. This 13-week contract role requires a candidate committed to high standards of patient care and technical excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule:

  • Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid New Jersey Radiology License
  • Certification from ARRT(CT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment
  • Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to patient care
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and positioning for imaging studies
  • Review and evaluate images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic quality
  • Maintain all required documentation and comply with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the rest of the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide compassionate, informative support and guidance to patients before, during, and after exams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary to ensure safe operation
