A highly skilled CT/PET Technologist is needed for a contract role with an immediate start. This position focuses on advanced imaging in an emergency room setting and requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Hours:
- Three 12-hour night shifts weekly, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- Rotating Schedule:
- Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday
- Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday
- 40 hours per week
- No on-call required; weekend shifts included
Key Qualifications:
- Active RI license
- ARRT certification RT(R)(CT)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience operating Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice CT scanners
- Familiarity with EPIC, GE PACS, and Medrad injectors is preferred
- COVID, flu vaccine, and booster required (medical declination accepted only for booster)
- Comfortable working primarily in an emergency room environment
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and PET/CT examinations with precision and efficiency, primarily for ER patients
- Follow protocols to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to communicate findings and facilitate quick patient turnaround
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and GE PACS systems
- Uphold infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
