This travel CT Tech opportunity promises exposure to a fast-paced CT department specializing in both diagnostic and interventional CT procedures within an oncology-focused environment. With two Siemens CT scanners and the chance to collaborate alongside experienced healthcare professionals, you'll gain valuable insight into the latest imaging practices and cutting-edge interventional techniques. Qualifications/Required Experience:
- ARRT CT and BLS certifications required; ARRT R preferred
- Familiarity with Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, PACS, Siemens scanners
- Competence with imaging: abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular, carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck—contrast and non-contrast
- Experience in contrast media administration, radiation safety, aspirations, biopsies, perfusion, drainage, cervical/lumbar/thoracic scanning, and EPIC documentation
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Emergency Department protocol, trauma head, colorectal and heart scans, isolation precautions, starting IVs, venipuncture, Vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, and various CT interventional procedures
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume environment
- Adhere to radiation safety, clinical documentation, and quality standards
- Occasionally respond to after-hours/weekend call as scheduled
