Key Qualifications:

• Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with specialty credentials in CT (Computed Tomography)
• Proven experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
• Ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients of all ages
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans as ordered by referring physicians, ensuring proper imaging techniques are utilized for optimal diagnostic results
• Prepare and position patients according to department protocols, carefully explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Administer contrast media in accordance with established guidelines and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate interpretation of images
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and follow all safety and infection control procedures
• Document patient history, imaging details, and scan information thoroughly in electronic medical records
• Assist in scheduling and workflow coordination to optimize patient throughput and minimize wait times
