CT Technologist in Pelham, AL

Seeking an experienced Imaging professional with proficiency in CT and CT/PET technologies to provide advanced diagnostic support in a dynamic clinical environment. In this contract-based role, you will utilize your technical expertise to perform a variety of imaging procedures and deliver high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Desired Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in radiography and advanced certification in CT required
• Previous experience with CT and CT/PET imaging in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of imaging protocols, quality assurance, and radiation safety practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
• Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and CT/PET equipment to acquire diagnostic images following physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Review images for quality, proper positioning, and diagnostic value before submission to radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor equipment performance, perform basic maintenance, and report issues as necessary
• Collaborate with medical professionals to provide vital information for patient diagnosis and treatment

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
