Qualifications/Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Proven experience operating both CT and PET imaging equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Strong attention to patient safety and infection control standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for CT and PET imaging procedures according to established protocols
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality images for interpretation
  • Review patient histories and maintain accurate documentation in medical records systems
  • Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to changes in condition when necessary
  • Ensure proper handling and administration of contrast materials or radiopharmaceuticals
  • Perform routine quality assurance and equipment maintenance
  • Uphold all policies related to patient confidentiality, safety, and infection control
