CT Technologist - Perry, Maine

Exciting opportunity available for a skilled professional experienced in both CT and PET imaging technology. This contract assignment seeks a candidate with strong technical expertise and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift; shift times may vary depending on operational needs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
• Current certification as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (RT) with advanced registry (ARRT) in CT preferred
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols and patient positioning
• Covid-19 vaccination required
• Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic clinical environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam
• Accurately operate imaging equipment, monitor image quality, and troubleshoot as needed
• Document patient histories, procedures, and scan results in electronic medical records systems
• Practice all applicable radiation safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate procedure details clearly and compassionately to patients
• Work in coordination with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide efficient patient care
