Key Qualifications:

• Certification or registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• ARRT (R) and (CT) credentials strongly preferred
• Previous experience operating CT scanners and providing imaging in a clinical setting
• Understanding of anatomy, patient positioning, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with patients and colleagues
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and workflow demands
• Valid state licensure (if applicable)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Confirm patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate technical factors
• Monitor scans for diagnostic quality, making adjustments as necessary
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and clean imaging rooms in compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review images and support care planning
• Document procedures, patient data, and quality assurance activities as required
