Advance your imaging career with a rewarding opportunity as a CT / CT-PET Technologist. This contract role offers a structured, supportive environment within a leading healthcare facility recognized for its Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and innovative diagnostic resources.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday)
Qualifications & Experience:
- ARRT and BLS certifications required
- ARRT-CT certification required for CT Tech role; state license preferred
- At least 1 year of strong CT/CT-PET experience; first-time travelers considered with 2+ years relevant experience
- Proficiency with GE CT systems; experience using Cerner EMR preferred
- Must be adept with CT biopsies, drainage, trauma, angiogram procedures; stroke perfusion experience highly desirable
- Comfort working with adult inpatient/outpatient populations (occasional pediatric outpatients/ED)
- Willingness to float within the main Radiology department
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality CT and PET imaging for a diverse patient base, managing an average of 4 patients per hour
- Perform and assist with specialized imaging procedures, including biopsies and angiograms, supporting rapid diagnosis and intervention
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic clinical setting, including inpatient and outpatient areas
- Uphold rigorous patient safety and imaging standards across all cases
- Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including occasional holiday and weekend rotation as required
