Elevate your imaging career by working as a CT/CT-PET Technologist in a bustling medical center known for serving a diverse patient population, including trauma, stroke, and NICU cases. Collaborate with a dedicated team in an advanced environment that leverages state-of-the-art GE CT equipment.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification and BLS required
- ARRT-CT credential required for CT Techs
- State license preferred
- Strong proficiency in CT procedures, including trauma, biopsy drainage, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Cerner EMR and GE CT technology
- Ability to float within main Radiology and adapt to inpatient, outpatient, and ED scenarios
- Will consider candidates with at least 1 year of strong CT/CT-PET experience, or 2 years’ experience if first-time traveler
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and PET imaging on adult inpatient, outpatient, and occasional pediatric patients
- Manage an average caseload of 4 patients per hour, typically 40 patients per day, with patient ratios averaging 1:1
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in fast-paced trauma, stroke, and general imaging settings
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Participate in floating assignments within the Radiology department, as needed
- Attend one-day, eight-hour orientation, followed by two to three mentored shifts
- Optional on-call opportunities are available
- Fulfill department holiday rotation requirements as outlined in hospital policy
