Elevate your career as a CT/PET Technologist by providing high-quality imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers a unique 3x12 schedule, working Friday through Sunday, supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations—including adult and occasional pediatric patients. As a valued team member, you'll be responsible for advanced diagnostic procedures, with a focus on trauma, stroke perfusion, biopsies, and angiograms, utilizing state-of-the-art GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3 twelve-hour shifts: Friday through Sunday
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
- ARRT-CT credential required for CT technologists
- State license preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant imaging experience for skilled candidates; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of strong experience in CT/PET
- Comfort with trauma, angiography, biopsy drainage, and stroke perfusion studies (strongly preferred)
- Willingness to float to various areas within the main radiology department
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT and PET imaging procedures to support diagnostic and treatment decisions
- Manage an average of 4 patients per hour (up to 40 per day) in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide exceptional care to a diverse population, including emergency and critical care cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a facility that includes a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center
- Ensure thorough documentation and maintain compliance using Cerner EMR
- Participate in voluntary on-call opportunities and comply with hospital holiday scheduling policies
