Step into a dynamic imaging environment as a skilled CT Technologist, providing crucial support across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and trauma cases. With a start date of 6/22, this contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to put your imaging and CT expertise into practice at a busy, high-acuity facility.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour mids: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • 36 hours per week

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • ARRT-CT credential required for CT Tech
  • State licensure preferred
  • At least 1 year of strong CT imaging experience (or 2 years for first-time travelers)
  • Proficiency with CT biopsy drainage, trauma protocols, angiogram studies (required), and strong stroke perfusion experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
  • Ability to work collaboratively with your team of CT techs and assistants
  • Experience across adult, occasional pediatric, and emergency imaging cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and oversee all GE CT scanners for a variety of patient types (inpatient, outpatient, emergency)
  • Perform specialized imaging, including trauma, stroke protocols, angiograms, and biopsy drainage
  • Provide coverage throughout the main radiology department as needed
  • Adapt to floating within various radiology areas within the hospital
  • Maintain detailed documentation using Cerner EMR
  • Manage patient volume: approximately 4 patients/hour, with a 1:1 patient ratio
