Step into a dynamic imaging environment as a skilled CT Technologist, providing crucial support across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and trauma cases. With a start date of 6/22, this contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to put your imaging and CT expertise into practice at a busy, high-acuity facility.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour mids: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
- ARRT-CT credential required for CT Tech
- State licensure preferred
- At least 1 year of strong CT imaging experience (or 2 years for first-time travelers)
- Proficiency with CT biopsy drainage, trauma protocols, angiogram studies (required), and strong stroke perfusion experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
- Ability to work collaboratively with your team of CT techs and assistants
- Experience across adult, occasional pediatric, and emergency imaging cases
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee all GE CT scanners for a variety of patient types (inpatient, outpatient, emergency)
- Perform specialized imaging, including trauma, stroke protocols, angiograms, and biopsy drainage
- Provide coverage throughout the main radiology department as needed
- Adapt to floating within various radiology areas within the hospital
- Maintain detailed documentation using Cerner EMR
- Manage patient volume: approximately 4 patients/hour, with a 1:1 patient ratio
