A skilled CT Technologist is needed for a contract assignment with an anticipated start date of June 22. The role offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment at a large, multi-specialty facility with a 492-bed capacity, including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. You will join an experienced imaging team delivering care across diverse patient populations.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour mid-shifts, 36 hours per week
  • 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM, Friday through Sunday

Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification and BLS required
  • ARRT-CT credential required; state license preferred
  • Experience performing trauma imaging, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion studies (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in biopsy drainage procedures
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience with strong references, or 2 years for first-time travelers
  • Comfortable working with both adult and occasional pediatric cases (outpatients/ED)
  • Ability to work efficiently, averaging up to 40 patients per day
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR and GE CT systems
  • Willingness to float within various areas of the Radiology department as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans, including trauma, angiogram, and specialty procedures, for both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Collaborate closely with radiology staff, including another CT tech and a department assistant on shift
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operate within hospital and imaging protocols
  • Contribute to patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
