Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CT Technologist and/or PET/CT Technologist
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography required
  • State licensure, as applicable
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT and PET/CT scanners
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and PET/CT procedures as ordered by medical staff, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results
  • Prepare and position patients according to prescribed protocols, prioritizing safety and comfort
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
  • Monitor patients during procedures, responding swiftly to any concerns or complications
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to review images and assist in diagnostic processes
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, adhering to confidentiality requirements
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and radiation safety standards
