Required Skills & Experience:

• Valid certification as a CT Technologist; PET certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience operating CT and PET/CT scanning equipment in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Proficiency in producing clear, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and related healthcare protocols.
• Attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate image interpretation support.
• Current BLS certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and facility procedures.
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for examinations.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain up-to-date electronic medical records.
• Administer contrast materials as needed while monitoring patient reactions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment for peak performance.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and patients to coordinate diagnostic care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
