Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Experience operating both CT and PET-CT equipment
• In-depth understanding of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety procedures
• Ability to assess image quality and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare colleagues
• Compliance with local regulations and facility policies regarding imaging practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely and appropriately for procedures
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and manage imaging data
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to sterility and infection control standards
