Qualifications:
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Demonstrated competency in CT and PET/CT imaging techniques
- Active BLS certification
- Familiarity with imaging equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and radiation guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
- Minimum of one year’s relevant experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT and PET/CT scans according to physician protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Accurately position patients and utilize shielding devices as appropriate
- Monitor imaging quality and troubleshoot technical issues promptly
- Document patient information and imaging procedures in electronic health records
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support optimal workflow
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness; report malfunctions or required maintenance
