Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of CT and PET/CT procedures following established protocols and physician instructions
- Verify patient identity and medical history to ensure accurate diagnostic results
- Prepare and administer contrast materials as needed, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning optimally and sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to review images and support patient diagnoses
- Adhere to rigorous safety and radiation protection standards at all times
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in the electronic medical record system
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist; additional PET/CT credentials preferred
- Previous experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safe administration of contrast agents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing patient volumes and priorities
- Current ARRT certification (CT) and, if applicable, relevant state licensure
