Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of CT and PET/CT procedures following established protocols and physician instructions
  • Verify patient identity and medical history to ensure accurate diagnostic results
  • Prepare and administer contrast materials as needed, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning optimally and sanitation standards are met
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to review images and support patient diagnoses
  • Adhere to rigorous safety and radiation protection standards at all times
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in the electronic medical record system

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist; additional PET/CT credentials preferred
  • Previous experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safe administration of contrast agents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing patient volumes and priorities
  • Current ARRT certification (CT) and, if applicable, relevant state licensure
