CT Technologist | Plainfield, New Jersey

Experienced CT/PET Technologists have a great opportunity to leverage their specialized skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role focuses on providing advanced imaging services, including both CT and PET scans, with a strong emphasis on Siemens equipment. Candidates will enjoy a consistent evening schedule with five 8-hour shifts per week, allowing for work-life balance while delivering essential diagnostic imaging.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT or CT/PET Technologist
• Proficiency in operating Siemens imaging systems
• Registered with ARRT (CT) and current state licensure, if applicable
• Excellent knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety practices
• Proven ability to interact with patients compassionately and professionally
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills

Schedule:

• Evening shift, five 8-hour shifts per week (5x8s)

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET scans as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients in accordance with exam protocols
• Evaluate imaging results for technical quality before submitting to radiologists
• Utilize Siemens equipment efficiently and assist with troubleshooting as needed
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support exceptional patient care
