Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating CT and PET imaging equipment
- Specific proficiency with Siemens CT systems required
- Appropriate radiologic technologist certification and registration (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid state licensure, as applicable
- Detailed knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET scans, ensuring patient safety and optimal image acquisition
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols
- Review images for clarity, making adjustments as necessary for diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with facility standards
- Operate Siemens imaging systems, troubleshooting and calibrating equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and support staff to deliver seamless care
- Monitor inventory of imaging supplies and assist in maintaining a clean, safe workspace
