A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Imaging professional with expertise in CT and CT/PET technology to deliver high-quality diagnostic services. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and supports patients through advanced imaging techniques. The assignment begins July 15th.

Schedule/Hrs:

  • Rotating 3-on / 2-off pattern (with variation)
  • Shift E1: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (10.5 hours)
  • Shift E2: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM (10.5 hours)

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT(R) certification, with CT credential preferred
  • Active BLS certification required
  • Valid Louisiana Radiology License
  • Demonstrated experience in CT and CT/PET imaging
  • Adaptability to various shift patterns and patient requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and safety in every step of the imaging process
  • Professional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized CT and PET/CT imaging procedures, following established safety protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for timely review and interpretation of images
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data
  • Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed
  • Adhere to HIPAA and facility regulations regarding patient information and occupational safety
