Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • State licensure as applicable
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in CT imaging
  • Proficiency in operating CT equipment and navigating electronic medical records
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on patient safety and comfort
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT procedures as ordered by medical staff, ensuring optimal imaging for accurate diagnosis
  • Confirm correct patient identification and procedure order prior to imaging
  • Properly position patients to obtain best imaging angles while maintaining patient dignity
  • Apply radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self
  • Assist physicians during exams when necessary, providing critical clinical support
  • Maintain cleanliness and preparedness of imaging rooms and equipment
  • Accurately document patient information and scan results in the medical records system
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and care teams to ensure understanding and comfort
