CT Tech CT Technologist in Portland, OR

In this pivotal role, you’ll utilize your technical expertise to perform diagnostic CT procedures, helping to ensure superior care and accurate results for patients. This is a contract opportunity with a duration of 13 weeks.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm
• Rotating shifts: Wednesday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(CT) certification
• Valid Oregon state licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience with CT imaging procedures
• Proficiency in operating Siemens Flash Dual Source and Perspective scanners
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders utilizing established protocols
• Operate Siemens CT equipment, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Monitor patients during scans and respond appropriately to emergent situations
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
