This contract opportunity offers a rewarding setting for professionals with strong imaging experience, focusing on CT and PET procedures while supporting a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and a Primary Stroke Center.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts, Friday to Sunday
Desired Qualifications:
- BLS and ARRT certifications required
- ARRT-CT certification required for CT Techs; state license preferred
- Experience with biopsy drainage, trauma imaging, angiogram procedures (required)
- Strongly prefer stroke perfusion CT experience
- Prior use of Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment highly beneficial
- Minimum one year’s recent experience in CT; first-time travelers considered with two years of recent, relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of advanced CT and PET imaging procedures for adult inpatients, outpatients, and occasional pediatric cases
- Deliver accurate, high-quality imaging with careful attention to patient safety and comfort
- Adapt to a fast-paced setting, averaging approximately 40 patients per day
- Float as needed throughout the main radiology department, supporting different specialized areas
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital with over 490 beds, providing care for trauma, stroke, and critical care populations
- Participate in one 8-hour hospital orientation and 2-3 unit-based shifts as part of onboarding
- Fulfill holiday and weekend rotation as per departmental needs; on-call is voluntary
