Step into a crucial imaging role supporting both inpatient and outpatient care at a comprehensive medical center with 492 beds and Level II Trauma Center accreditation. Work primarily in the main Radiology department, providing expertise across different areas and serving a diverse patient population—including adults and occasional pediatrics—within a high-performing clinical team.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts: Friday through Sunday

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification required for all candidates; ARRT-CT required for CT Techs
  • BLS certification mandatory
  • State license preferred
  • At least one year of strong clinical experience with CT/CT-PET; for first-time travelers, two years’ experience with the required skills is necessary
  • Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with CT biopsies, drainage, trauma imaging, and angiograms
  • Experience with GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of CT scans, including trauma, stroke perfusion, angiograms, biopsies, and drainages
  • Serve both adult and pediatric populations in inpatient and outpatient/ED settings
  • Manage a caseload averaging four patients per hour, with a 1:1 patient ratio whenever possible
  • Float throughout the hospital’s radiology department as needed based on clinical demands
  • Complete initial hospital orientation and work a short period with another technologist for hands-on training

Additional Information:

  • Orientation consists of an 8-hour session plus 2-3 shadowing shifts
  • Voluntary on-call opportunities available
  • Participation in the hospital’s holiday and weekend rotation policies is required
