An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CT Technologist to provide expert imaging services in a fast-paced hospital environment. This contract role is key in supporting patient care for both inpatient and outpatient settings, including adult and occasional pediatric populations. The assignment begins on 6/22 and involves working at a highly recognized facility with 492 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center distinction.
Schedule & Shift:
- 12-hour mids: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications & Skills:
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT-CT certification required; state license preferred
- Minimum 1 year of strong CT experience; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of strong experience
- Proficiency in CT procedures, including biopsy drainage, trauma, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment
- Ability to float throughout the Radiology department as needed
- Must purchase and use own markers
- Team player with excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT exams for a diverse patient population (average 4 patients/hour, 40 daily)
- Collaborate with 2 CT techs and an assistant each shift
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient safety protocols
- Support trauma, stroke, and angiogram imaging needs
- Participate in department rotations, including weekend and holiday coverage as required
