Step into an advanced imaging environment serving a high-acuity patient population as a CT and CT/PET Technologist. This contract opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of cases in a large, full-service healthcare facility with 492 beds, state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation: Typically once per month (subject to departmental needs)
  • Holiday coverage: Expected to work one major and one minor seasonal holiday in alignment with facility policy (exact dates not pre-assigned)
  • On-call: Voluntary basis

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT credential required for CT Techs
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • State license preferred
  • Proficiency in advanced CT procedures including biopsy drainage, trauma protocols, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with both adult and occasional pediatric patients in inpatient/outpatient settings
  • Prior use of Cerner EMR and GE CT technology preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT and PET/CT imaging studies on a diverse patient population, both inpatient and outpatient, including emergency department cases
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient care approach, averaging 4 patients per hour (40 patients per day)
  • Float within the primary radiology department as needed, adapting to different imaging areas
  • Collaborate with a strong clinical team in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment
  • Participate attentively in a comprehensive orientation process and acclimate to hospital protocols
