Advance your career as an experienced CT/PET Technologist for a contract opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role primarily supports imaging services within the emergency department, utilizing cutting-edge Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice equipment. The ideal candidate brings expertise in CT technology, superior patient care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: 3x12-hour nights (3:00pm – 3:30am)
  • Rotating schedule:
    • Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday
    • Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday
  • 40 hours per week
  • No on-call requirements; weekend shifts required

Qualifications:

  • Active RI Radiologic Technologist license
  • RT(R)(CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice scanners
  • EPIC and GE PACS familiarity strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Medrad injectors
  • COVID, booster, and flu vaccinations required (medical declination accepted for booster only)
  • Adaptability to high-acuity emergency room environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide timely diagnostic scans for emergency room patients
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging systems and documentation platforms
  • Follow all infection control and hospital protocol, including dress code (scrubs, no hooded sweatshirts)
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with workflow optimization
