Step into a vital diagnostic imaging role supporting emergency room operations with a focus on CT and PET/CT procedures. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and spans 13 weeks, offering a structured schedule without on-call requirements.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts:
- Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (11:30 pm – 10 am)
- Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (11:30 pm – 10 am)
- No on-call required
- Parking fees are fully covered
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island RT(R)(CT) license
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) registry
- BLS certification
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required; booster accepted with medical declination only (no religious declinations)
- Proficiency with Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64-slice CT scanners
- Experience with Medrad injectors
- Working knowledge of EPIC EMR and GE PACS preferred
- Experience in high-paced, emergency room imaging settings is a strong asset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging for ER patients
- Ensure accurate operation of advanced imaging equipment
- Collaborate closely with emergency and radiology staff to expedite critical diagnostics
- Adhere strictly to infection control, safety standards, and all hospital policies
- Maintain clear, detailed records within EPIC and other digital systems as required
- Uphold the dress code: scrubs (no hooded sweatshirts)
