CT Technologist in Pueblo, CO

An opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional specializing in CT to provide exceptional diagnostic services in a dynamic healthcare environment. The individual in this role will play a critical part in delivering high-quality imaging that supports accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or equivalent accrediting body.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred.
• Valid radiologic technologist license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience operating CT equipment effectively and safely in a healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy, imaging protocols, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize image quality issues and troubleshoot as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage time efficiently.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, monitoring for technical quality and reporting malfunctions.
• Review images for diagnostic accuracy before submission to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Follow all applicable radiation safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
